AURELIE-PASTRY MAKER

SupaDupaMama portrait

As far back as I can remember, I have always had this need to create, to use my hands and to be in contact with material

As a child, I spent hours drawing, painting, cutting. I did it most often in the kitchen, the family's meeting place.

My parents very quickly passed on to me a taste for good things, love

and respect for beautiful products. It is quite naturally that pastry comes to me.

Leaving Africa where I was born, I moved to Paris to study applied arts, and a few years later I obtained a degree in fashion marketing.

By becoming a mother, we decided to settle in Bordeaux, the city of our hearts.

My passion for cooking and especially for baking becomes omnipresent.

Beyond the pleasure it gives me, I find more meaning in it.

In 2013, "SupaDupaMama" was born, a blog in which I share recipes and other ideas, especially around the world of children. This blog allows me to combine my passions, to create but with a notion of sharing that I did not find in my job.

The feedback on my pastries and creations for my children's birthdays is such that those around me encourage me in this direction.

I then decided to take my CAP in pastry making as an independent candidate and trained for a year with a pastry chef who taught me all the basics of French pastry making.

I obtained my CAP in 2015 and had a laboratory fitted out at my home that met hygiene and safety standards.

I also take part in training courses with foreign pastry chefs who teach me the basics of cake design, but I remain self-taught in the style that I offer.

My work hides hours of reading and constant research into tastes, trends and techniques used around the world.

Each cake is unique, and created according to your desires in terms of taste and visual in order to accompany you in the most beautiful moments of your life.

Beyond the quality products that I include, each of my cakes is made with love and passion.
